Sometimes, all you need is a little rest & relaxation. OR, just the liberty to do whatever you want. Those are the kind of weekends I like!
Friday was date night. Mr. G didn't get home from work until after 6 (which is late to me!) and we headed out to dinner soon after. We were supposed to go to one of my "trendy places" but I ended up not being super hungry so I let Mr. G pick. Guess where we went? The All American Mexican - On The Border. And it was mmm mmm good.
Jeffrey was so tired that he ended up falling asleep on the couch at 8:45 on Friday night! Yes, we're already THAT couple. Really cool. This is what I ended up doing with myself.... Really really cool.
Isn't it refreshing that I don't post only "perfect" pictures of myself? Enjoy!
Saturday, me and two of my other Navy wife friends met up at Lyndsey's house (far right) and headed off to sushi and pedi's. As you may recall from a previous post, Lyndsey is the one whose husband is currently deployed and she's pregnant with a little boy! Don't worry folks, she didn't eat raw sushi!
Mr. G and I went for a walk to our local gas station to hit up the 44 oz sodas. It's times like these that I really really really miss Sonic Happy Hour. Anyone? Anyone?
If you know me, you know that I have a passion and love for magazines (and lipgloss). Unfortunately, I don't get to read them very much...so, I enjoyed my down time and took advantage of these two!
I hope you all had a joyous weekend too!! Thank goodness another one is only a few days away! I live for my weekends, don't you?! :)
