Without You.

Here is something sweet for ya.  Jeff is totally not a "lyrics" guy when it comes to music.  Meaning, he likes a song because of the beat, the sound, if it's catchy to him or not.  Not because the lyrics are sentimental and meaningful. 

That's why I think this is EXTRA sweet and special.  Lately, he has been obsessed with Keith Urban's "Without You".  Last weekend, every time we were in the car, he kept on changing the stations, back and forth, back and forth from XM and regular radio waiting for the song to come on.  He did it so much that I was starting to get annoyed - just let me listen to A SONG, ANY SONG please!!  He was frantic about it - really!  Then, when we'd get back to his place, he'd put the song on repeat on his loud speakers.  At one point, during the car ride when he kept on changing the stations trying to see if it was playing, I asked him why he liked the song so much.  He said it's because it reminded him of me and talked about why.  Melted my heart into a huge puddle.  He talked about how it's such a sweet song and he thinks it's so perfect for "us" as a couple, with him and his career as a traveling and deploying Navy man.  I thought about it and the next time I heard it REALLY listened to the lyrics, and he was so right - it made me think of him too, us, our relationship, everything.  It was so perfect!

Take a peak for yourself.  Listen to the song - it's really sweet.  Even if you've already heard it before, listen again.  It's a declaration of love to his wife (Nicole Kidman).  It's very touching.  He is saying through this song that his life wouldn't mean anything if his wife wasn't in it.
