This weekend was pretty much dedicated to bridesmaids - it's pretty funny how that worked out! Jeffrey was out of town this weekend for his sister, Emily's, graduation from Texas A&M (Whoop! Gig Em! Congrats!) and I spent the weekend with a few of my girlfriends in SD!
Friday night, we went and saw the newly released movie Bridesmaids - and it was fantastic! {No, mom, you will not like this movie}. I have not laughed that hard in a movie in a long time. My explanation of it is that it's the girl version of The Hangover, so jump on it! Melissa McCarthy was excellent in it - I've loved her since she played Sookie on Gilmore Girls. And obviously so was everyone else. When you have 2 or more SNL cast members in a movie, it's bound to be a good one.
The majority of Saturday was spent doing bridesmaids stuff (thinking, finding, searching, narrowing...) all in the name of trying to ask my bridesmaids to be, well, my bridesmaids! Still working on it...
And Sunday, I watched Revenge of the Bridesmaids, with Raven Symone, which I had ordered on Netflix. Crazy that it came in this weekend, and even crazier that I am like a 12 year old and love ABC Family movies. As Amanda pointed out to me Friday night, I am like a big kid. She was laughing at my choices of snacks at the movie theater. What can I say?

It was a great weekend. SD becomes my home with each passing day and week. So thankful it's been such a wonderful, easy, and smooth transition!
Anne, on the right is a new friend I made after moving out here. She's engaged to another Navy Helicopter pilot who is currently deployed. They will get married in August - yay for her! Amanda is on the left, and I am so thankful for her! She and I were friends at A&M and are Texas girls finding ourselves in San Diego living only a few miles apart. We were both Chi Omegas together, she was 2 years older than me. Her husband is also in the Navy and he deployed last week for 6 months...so sad. Glad we all have each other!
Love that I made your blog and love having you as my neighbor! I am so grateful for your friendship. I had so much fun with you this weekend!
